The Portfolio Strategy Manager is a highly customized, proprietary portfolio construction web application that I designed to generate compliant versions of American Funds and ETFs on a daily basis by replacing problematic securities with new securities that meet necessary regional requirements, and match the parent fund’s performance as closely possible.

The platform experienced rapid growth in users, usage, and fund launches. As a result, there needed to be multiple redesign campaigns to accommodate scale, activity and performance. In Spring of 2023 we assembled a brainstorming workshop to begin exploring forward looking solutions to address these current and anticipated needs and requirements.

Over the course of two weeks our team built out a collection of multiple screen flows assembled from a wide range of assets including user research and sketching sessions, wireframing, dashboard mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma and Figjam. The goal was to re-imagine a new day-in-the-life vision and workflow an investment professional would benefit from to more effectively strategize around markets opening/closing, real time alerts and their impact, and other calls to action needing to be reconciled on a daily basis.
